Blackmroes S.S. 69 assists liver function and detoxication and allows toxic metabolites to become more water soluble to allow for better urinary excretion. Sodium Sulphate also regulates bile viscosity and allow for better flow through the gallbladder and as such benefits conditions such as gallstones, biliousness and nausea. Other conditions which benefits from S.S. 69 include conditions relating to fluid balance such as breast tenderness, fluid retenetion and inflammed arthritic joints.

Physcal signs which may indicate the need for Sodium Sulphate include a clear and shiny tongue with no coating or a greenish-brown coating at the back of the tongue with serrated or scalloped edges. Opaque or frosted nails can also indicate the need for S.S. 69.
