Blackmores S.S.S. is a sodium and silica formulation designed to help with detoxification. The sodium sulphate component of S.S.S. will assist with detoxification, regulate bile viscosity and its flow through gallbladder.
Silica has long been renowned for its beneficial effects on conditions affecting bone, tendons and ligaments. Regular supplementation with S.S.S. will help with conditions of abnormal nutrition and calcification of bone, tendon, ligament and cartilage, will strengthen tooth enamel and help to heal skin fissures.
Silica may also assist in the promotion of healing, expulsion
- Promotes suppuration and initiates healing - to ripen abscesses, boils and sties and drive wastes outwards
- Promotes expulsion of foreign materials such as glass or splinters
- Profuse perspiration with strong odour, especially from the feet
- Lack of growth, strength or vitality of fingernails or hair

Medicine Interactions
Sodium may increase the risk of oedema associated with antihypertensive agents (calcium channel blockers, vasodilators), corticosteroids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, oestrogens, liquorice and carbenoxolone.

- Sodium sulphate - anhydrous 195 mg
- Silicon dioxide 33 mg
Dosage
Adults - Take 1 tablet 3 times a day with meals, or as professionally prescribed.
Children under 12 years - As professionally prescribed.
Suitable for use in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
